Be part of the 1st WWF Mural Painting Marathon on Feb. 18!

FISH AND TELL:

Taking care of the environment is not exclusive to grown ups!  In fact, it's better for parents to teach their kids the value of environment care at an early age, during children's formative years.  This is when they will learn the lessons by heart and bring it to their adulthood.

Even a kid can be an environment steward.  And If you don't know how, well, WWF is here to help you!  And one perfect opportunity is through WWF's upcoming event!

This February, you and your kids can show some love for the environment and our local endangered species by joining the 1st WWF Mural Painting Marathon!  The marathon will be held on February 18, 2012, 2pm at the Glorietta Dolphin Park for the WWF Philippines 1st Dolphin Mural Painting Marathon to help raise awareness about endangered animals and the need to protect their habitats.

For a registration fee of P300, you'll get to show your advocacy through bolder, more colorful strokes! WWF is throwing in some freebies too, like face painting, henna tattoos, puppet shows, anime portraits, and live performances.

It will be led mural artist and WWF Environmental Hero AG Sano and also by WWF celebrity ambassadors Rovilson Fernandez and Marc Nelson.

Proceeds of the 1st WWF Mural Painting Marathon will go to WWF-Philippine’ Adoption Program, which aims to boost WWF's local species conservation projects in the country.
