Daniel Craig aims for the best James Bond ever via SKYFALL

POTATO ON THE GO BULLETIN (Movie):

Daniel Craig leads the cast of Columbia Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures' “Skyfall,” his third film as James Bond 007. “Bond is actually remarkably difficult part to play, because he says very little, and the moment you make him say too much, it’s not Bond anymore,” says Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes.

“He operates on instinct a lot of the time. He has his own inner demons and he doesn’t reveal them to other characters, and yet the audience needs to be aware of them, especially in this particular movie,” Mendes adds. “In `Skyfall,' the audience has got to see him, in a sense, fall apart and put himself back together again, but none of the other characters see what’s really going on behind the curtain. Daniel’s done that, I think, brilliantly.”

Happy 5th Global Handwashing Day!

TADI ALERT:

Five years ago, on this same date, October 15, I joined the first ever Global Handwashing Day in the Philippines led by UNICEF, the Department of Education (DepEd), the Department of Health (DOH) and Safeguard.  And back then, some people would sarcastically comment "Why handwashing?"  or "Why waste time on it?" And back then, most people didn't realize the importance of handwashing.  They weren't aware that CLEAN HANDS, SAVE LIVES.  It may sound too simple and basic, and hard to believe for some, but it is true!

Why?  Handwashing with water is not enough!  Handwashing with water and soap breaks down disease-causing bacteria  and has been cited as one of the most cost-effective interventions to prevent diseases that kill millions of children every year such as diarrhea, pneumonia, acute respiratory infection, intestinal helminthes infection and intestinal worms!
