Jollibee and Ronald McDonald agreed on one thing, and that's for Tatak Digitista!  Haha =D  They both agreed to pose here!  And am happy to to see them here as I patronize both of their products!  I love Jollibee's Chicken Joy and Palabok Fiesta, and I adore McDonald's Chicken McNuggets and Quarter Pounder Cheeseburger!!!  Oh my, am now craving for it!!!  Haha =D

Happy Feet is really destined to be a winner.  From the adventures of its lead character Mumble up to the actual production of the movie, nothing can block the success of this animated wonder. 

The film's director George Miller wasn't looking to make back-to-back cartoons about the environmentally fragile residents of Antarctica then. But Mother Nature can be a wicked executive producer, Miller has learned.

"I was all set to do another `Mad Max’ in Australia," he says. "And it kept raining. And raining. And raining. After about 12 months, we decided to do `Happy Feet 2’ instead."

I must admit, the bag I usually carry is not comfortable for me, it's bulky, it's heavy, it's out of style.  Why?  All my gadgets are there, my netbook, my EHD, my disk drive, my camera etc. etc. =)  Oh, but well, I'd rather do it that way than miss the priceless moments I need to capture and share in Tatak Digitista =).  And true enough, while having coffee at the Harbor Square in Manila, I caught these life's wonders:

The year isn't over yet but DreamWorks and Disney has already given the public a glimpse of what the start of 2012 has to offer by revealing the trailers of its initial salvo for next year,  Steven Spielberg’s “War Horse”

Indeed Time is Gold in 20th Century Fox movie IN TIME (IN TIME opens on Oct. 28)

Time is Gold.  This line is a cliche but not for the upcoming 20th Century Fox's philosophical action thriller "In Time".  In this movie, the quote Time is Gold is indeed true, literally speaking, primarily. 


It’s a race against time for two young fugitives in a society where time is the currency and there is never enough of it in “In Time.” Starring Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried with Olivia Wilde, Cillian Murphy and Alex Pettyfer, “In Time” clocks in a world where which people stop aging at 25. From that point onward they have to buy, borrow or steal time in order to stay alive. Every second counts. For the poor like Timberlake’s Will Salas, life is a constant struggle for survival, while the wealthy have enough time to live forever. Falsely accused of murder and on the run, Will (Timberlake) meets the rich and beautiful Sylvia (Seyfried). Together the charismatic pair is trying to bring down the corrupt system. The world created by director Andrew Niccol in “In Time” is corrupt and unjust. For the poor it is a daily battle to acquire enough time to stay alive. The rich on the other hand have centuries and can potentially live forever. There is a yawning gap between the haves and have-nots.

Action & Event-ure:

A few weeks back, we had a bloggers get to together to launch the Mede8er Med500X2, the new media player that provides the ultimate viewing experience to demanding media enthusiasts!

Resorts World Manila Brings In World Class Theater Via The Sound of Music

When Resorts World Manila claimed that The Sound of Music is a world class theater production, I asked myself how can they exactly qualify that.  Well, after seeing the musical at its premiere, I was easily convinced why it is called as such.

A musical by Richard Rodgers with lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II and book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse, The Sound of Music is the story of a young postulant, Maria Rainer, who is appointed governess of the seven children of widower Captain Georg von Trapp. She teaches them the rudiments of music and allows them to discover a talent for singing they never once thought they possessed. In the process, the Captain's cold and stern heart turns soft towards his children, while the stiff, professional relationship he once had with Maria gives way unexpectedly to love. Soon, they find themselves threatened by uncertainties of wartime as they struggle to build a new life together.

So, why is The Sound of Music world class?
