POTATO ON THE GO BULLETIN (Magazine):
"Astig
ka pag Men's Health Ka! " This is the proud and fulfilled statement of
ABS-CBN actor Enchong Dee when I asked him during on what he feels on
being a cover for Men's Health the second time around.
In the press launch of Men's Health summer April issue, which he is a cover, Enchong revealed that he once had a chat with another actor and the latter said that it's his dream to pose for the cover of Men's Health. And with Enchong doing this the second time around, this guy is one lucky young man! :) "Parang status symbol na sya pag Men's Health cover ka. Proud ako na kinuha nila ulit ako (Posing for Men's Health is like a status symbol. Am proud that they got me again), explained Enchong.
Men’s Health editors believe that his commitment to maintaining a healthy lifestyle and his achievements is something readers can aspire for and made him more than qualified to be the cover of the prestigious magazine. “He’s one of the biggest stars of ABS-CBN and a fine actor. Despite his busy schedule, it doesn’t stop him from committing to a workout routine and continue to push himself further,” Men’s Health Deputy Editor, Peejo Pilar says.
In the cover story, Dee shares how his mindset as an athlete helped him become just as successful in the field of showbiz. “I will not be who I am today without swimming,” says Dee. The former national swimmer is now setting his fitness goals a notch higher by easing himself into doing triathlons. In fact, running has become a regular part of his workout routine. “These days I like to run at high noon because I like to sweat,” Dee says.
Aside from being active, muay thai included, Enchong shared that for a very busy person like him, he makes sure that he takes vitamins and doesn't skip meal. "Eat everything but make sure you work out or exercise. Pag tinanggal mo kasi ang isang food group, may effect yan. Enjoy life. But be active."
Also in this month’s issue is the MH Hot List— model Barbara Baretto on the flip, a selection of things to do, the coolest gadgets, essential guy skills, and summer related tips from eight gorgeous MH Girls of Summer. The Men’s Health Guide To Footwear will make shoe shopping easier for guys and gives you rules on what type to wear for any occasion. While this month’s workout poster, The Ultimate Boot Camp Workout, will help you blast away fat and reveal that abs as you hit the beach.
