HELLO WORLD:
Traveling. I would like to believe that it's in my DNA. :) If there's one thing I would like to do for the rest of my life, one of which would be traveling. BUT my hectic schedule would not permit that, at the moment. I'm at the prime of my career, and there's no slowing down anytime soon. BUT it doesn't mean I would let go of my passion for traveling. If there's no time, I will find time for it definitely. But I need a little help.
In those few moments that I'm able to travel, I only have a few time to prepare. In fact it could just be hours before the actual flight or land trip. So in those few hours, I usually rush up to the mall and look for the things I need -- travel gear, bag, toiletries etc. And unfortunately, there's no single section that is devoted for travel. For example, bag section would not have padlock or passport holder. I still need to go to the warehouse and leather section. So it becomes an added burden for the very little time I have.
So when I heard about Flight 001 opening its biggest store in the Philippines, right in Shangri-La Plaza Mall Mandaluyong, I can't help but get excited! Flight 001 by the way is the world's premiere travel store that provides an all-inclusive retail experience that addresses every travel need with style and comfort. And it's an AHA moment because I knew it would be the help I actually need!

In line with Flight 001’s existing locations, the interior of the new store is designed to model the look and feel of 747 Jet fuselage. Yes, I feel I'm just in a jet or plane -- a superb interior design for such intelligent concept store! Complete with curved walls, wood paneling, and a retro-modern ticket counter, the stores are reminiscent of the glamorous Jet-Set era of the 1950s and 60s. This one-stop travel store was conceived in 1998 aboard Air France flight 023 somewhere between New York and Paris. John Sencion and Brad John, two business travelers who had spent far too much time preparing for their trip, envisioned a travel store as streamlined as flight itself.
Along with the concept stores, Flight 001 has their own brand of highly functional travel products: the Flight 001 Spacepak packing system maximizes cabin-size luggage space by compressing the air out of two weeks’ worth of clothes. The Flight 001 Go Clean pack bag collection helps keep you organized with versatile mix-and-match bags that range from laundry to shoes, beachwear to gym gear. I am so amazed with what they offer for travel junkies like me. They're not just practical but they're brilliant!

So the next time I'll rush again, or plan ahead, for that travel shopping need, I now know where to go. That will be Flight 001! :)
