TADI ALERT:
AirAsia Zest continues to expand its network and adds four new direct flights from Cebu International Airport to Kuala Lumpur and to top tourist destinations of Puerto Princesa (Palawan), Davao and Cagayan de Oro in the Philippines. To celebrate the new routes, AirAsia Zest is offering free seats from as low as P353 only which covers payment for tax and fees.
“The hype is building up for AirAsia Zest and we are thrilled to offer an extraordinary promo as we expand operations in Cebu. Aside from our current Cebu to Manila daily flights, we are commencing daily service to Davao and Cagayan de Oro, and 4X weekly to Puerto Princesa City in November 15. Daily direct flights from Cebu to Kuala Lumpur, meanwhile, will start in December 1,” AirAsia Zest Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Joy Caneba said.
The free seats promo is available for booking at www.airasia.com from 14 to 27 October 2013, and guests will be able to travel from 15 November 2013 to 14 April 2014 for domestic and from 1 December 2013 to 14 April 2014 for international. Cash payments for promo seats are also accepted at 7 Eleven, Bayad Center and Cebuana Lhuillier stores nationwide.
“Aside from our low fares, we are offering Filipinos more choices, enhanced services and access to AirAsia’s over 85 destinations stretching across all Asean countries as well as China, India and Australia,” Caneba said.
AirAsia Zest’s new service to Davao, Cagayan de Oro and Puerto Princesa (Palawan) provides accessibility to island beaches, marine sanctuaries and exciting water sports and outdoor extreme activities.
Famous for white water rafting, kayaking, caving, spelunking and other extreme sports activities, Cagayan de Oro (CDO) is gifted with natural wonders, resorts, museum, parks and rich history. Those who are visiting CDO may also explore the nearby provinces of Bukidnon and Lanao del Norte for their majestic mountain ranges, pineapple plantation and breathtaking countryside. Gastronomic delight, meanwhile, awaits those who are headed to Cebu via AirAsia Zest. Dubbed as the Queen City of the South, Cebu is highly urbanized and as cosmopolitan as Manila. Food is one of its main tourist attractions. Since American chef and television personality Anthony Bourdain called it the “best pig ever,” Zubuchon has become the most popular lechon (roasted pig) for visitors. Abu-han restaurant’s pochero or Cebu’s version of bulalo (bone marrow soup) is also gaining popularity among local and international tourists.
