In the film, John Form has found the perfect gift for his expectant wife, Mia—a beautiful, rare vintage doll in a pure white wedding dress. But Mia’s delight with Annabelle doesn’t last long.

One of the most eagerly anticipated films of the year, New Line Cinema's horror thriller “The Conjuring” will hold special sneak previews on Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 12 & 13 in selected theaters nationwide.

This was announced today by Francis Soliven, General Manager of Warner Bros. Philippines, the film's local distributor. Soliven relayed the good news in response to the public's exceedingly high interest in the film, stoked by the movie's recent record-breaking bow in the U.S. and sensational internet buzz.

Columbia Pictures has just revealed the second trailer of its upcoming suspense-thriller, “Carrie” which you can watch here:

“Carrie” is a reimagining of the classic horror tale about Carrie White (Chloe Grace Moretz), a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother (Julianne Moore). The teenaged girl unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom.

Filmmaking is about taking risks, says Erik Matti, writer and director of the biggest horror adventure of 2012, Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles. What else would you call the movie’s astronomical budget, the decision to shoot it entirely on green screen and have a bad boy character as the film’s main protagonist?

The concept immediately appealed to lead actor Dingdong Dantes who is playing against type in this project. “Collaborating with Erik Matti and executive producer Dondon Monteverde allowed me to break out of the stereotype of my roles on TV and in the movies.”
