Richard Gutierrez leads the cast of GMA Network's action drama LOVE & LIES

GMA Network offers another original series that will definitely make viewers glued to their TV screens with the premiere of Love & Lies. It will replace Temptation of Wife beginning April 8 on GMA Telebabad.

Love & Lies is a suspenserye and a fast-paced action-romance series topbilled by Richard Gutierrez. He plays the role of Edward, a highly decorated officer of the Philippine Navy. Richard returns to primetime after appearing in the successful drama and action series entitled Makapiling Kang Muli. Playing her leading ladies are Michelle Madrigal as Cathy and Bela Padilla as Denise.

GMA Network is bringing back the well-loved family sitcom Pepito Manaloto to Filipino homes beginning September 16, Sunday night right after Imbestigador. Pepito Manaloto, Ang Tunay na Kuwento is different from the previous season. It is a stand alone show that follows the ordinary life of an ordinary person who was blessed with extraordinary luck.

This original family sitcom is top billed by Asian TV Best Comedy Actor recipient Michael V. as Pepito Manaloto. The show also stars Manilyn Reynes as Elsa Manaloto, Angel Satsumi as Clarissa Manaloto and Jake Vargas as Chito Manaloto.

Following the success of Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin, GMA-7 recreates another one of its very own masterpieces with the upcoming remake of Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga. The original version ran for two successful years, and still remains as one of GMA’s most popular teledramas to this day.

In the modern version, promising Kapuso stars Mikael Daez and Andrea Torres will breathe new life to the roles previously portrayed by Dingdong Dantes and Tanya Garcia.

BORN TO BE WILD's month-long ALIEN FISH feature starts this Wednesday, August 8

All Wednesdays of the month, beginning August 8, get a closer look at the so-called monsters that lurk deep beneath the country’s waters in Born to be Wild's "Alien Fish" series.

In small fishing towns north and south of Metro Manila, the fishermen are angry. They say monsters have taken over their rivers and lakes—enormous, flesh-eating fish that wipe out their local catch. These are alien species from different parts of the world, and even the authorities are alarmed by their growing numbers in Philippine waters. Fishermen complain that these “aliens” have strong and sharp teeth that can tear down their fishing nets. But how on earth did these aliens find their way to Philippine lakes and rivers?

GMA Network, Inc., the Philippines’ number one broadcast network, recorded a strong start for the second half of 2012 with another month-long win in nationwide television ratings this July.

According to full July data (July 1 to 21 official data; July 22 to 31 overnight data), GMA Network scored 33.3 points in total day (6AM to 12MN) household audience shares in National Urban Philippines, 1.1 points higher than ABS-CBN’s 32.2 and 18.4 points higher than TV5’s 14.9.

GMA Network reveals H.O.T. TV, the new showbiz-magazine show to replace Showbiz Central

Beginning August 5, GMA Network will air its new showbiz-magazine program H.O.T. TV, which stands for “Hindi Ordinaryong Tsismis TV,” replacing the showbiz-oriented talk show Showbiz Central.

H.O.T. TV will be hosted by Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Protégé mentor and veteran comedian-host Roderick Paulate, and two of the current Showbiz Central hosts Raymond Gutierrez and Jennylyn Mercado.

(Bitoy)...we've seen them in Bubble Gang, Hole in the Wall, Yaya & Angelina, Boy Pick-up and a number of movies in the 90s.  While they are together in these shows and films, they've never failed in reinventing themselves as a duo and offering something new to the viewing public.  And this led GMA Network to producing the musical talk show Pare and Pare, a one of its kind in its format, aired over the channel, every Sunday night.  

Last night GMA Network invited yours truly, as well other topnotch lifestyle and entertainment blogs, to the set of Pare and Pare.  And we were able to catch child actress Jillian Ward's guesting in the said show.   But prior to the taping, we had a chance to interview the dynamic duo of Ogie and Bitoy.
